As the war in Ukraine unfolds, many are wondering how they can tangibly help those suffering from the violence. One opportunity is to partner with our church in providing relief for the refugees who have fled to Poland. Once they cross the border, they often wonder, now what? They left their houses, livelihoods, and often family members in Ukraine.
This situation gives us a wonderful opportunity to receive these people into our homes and into our church. While God has already given us the opportunity to provide immediate relief, we understand that many families will need continued help in the months to come. As a result, we are renting and equipping homes to house the refugees with little to no cost to them, depending on each family’s need, providing food, educational opportunities, and discipleship. We have three homes already in the works with the possibility of renting another. This church ministry, by God’s grace, will show the love of Christ to those who are truly in need.
